I am purchasing a 1999 JD 445 with 450 hours. I have bought it for $3800.00 and another $750.00 for a brand new, dual cylinder 54" blade. From what I am reading this is a pretty good deal. What do you think?
The 54" blade is 2 years old, but never had the box opened. It is from Alabama and the dealer says he can not sell these things down there.
Thanks in Advance

Well, I did purchase the tractor with the 60" deck for the $3800.00. I got the new blade for $675.00. Also, I got both of these with no tax.
The product gets delivered next week. I have the pictures and know the dealers real well, so I am pretty anxious to get started.
Thanks ....

I think you got a GREAT deal. I have over 1900 hours on my 1994 JD 445 and it still runs like a champ. You have alot of hours left on that machine. Change the oil and filter on a routine basis and take of it in general and it will last you for a long time.
